The TERA you remember, kept sharp
Sharp runs the 64-bit patch 100 client on server software we built ourselves. That gives us something the old servers never had: the freedom to fix what was broken, rework what never felt right, and add new content on top of a game we still love.
So the combat, the dungeons and the world are the ones you remember, and everything we have added is there because it makes the game better to play. There is a battleground of our own, hard modes rebuilt from the ground up, Wonderholme for your raid, race and class pairings retail never allowed, and a proxy built right into the launcher. The rest of this page walks you through it.
The server is shaped by the people who play on it. If something feels off, tell us on Discord and we will look at it.
Champion's Arena: built by PvPers, for PvPers
Champion's Arena is our own 5v5 battleground, and it strips away everything that stands between you and a fight. This is no-holds-barred PvP with a single objective: kill. The team that does it better wins. The arena has its own Vanguard quest and its own entry in your PvP record, so every match counts for something.
In the battlegrounds everyone is handed equalized gear, so a fight comes down to how you play rather than how long you have farmed. That farming still pays off, though: players who earned their gear are rewarded for it in the battlegrounds. And for the veterans, the old Velika Outskirts Civil Unrest map is back, and better than ever.
Hard modes, rebuilt for Sharp
Velik's Sanctuary, Bahaar's Sanctum and Ruinous Manor all return in hard mode, reworked and retuned for this server. Bahaar switches hammer stances mid-fight and expects you to keep up, Ruinous Manor hits harder and leaves less room for mistakes, and a party that knows the mechanics will feel the difference in every one of them.
When your guild is ready for something bigger, Wonderholme is waiting for a full raid. Getting geared for any of it does not take a second job: gearing is tuned for hardcore and casual players alike, so you can push every night or play a few evenings a week and still have a path forward.

Play the character you always wanted
On retail TERA your race decided which classes you could pick. On Sharp a Castanic man can take up the Valkyrie's runeglaive or the Gunner's arcannon, Humans, men and women alike, can play either class, and High Elves can finally become Valkyries.
Those are the first pairings, and more are on the way.

Arborea, as you left it
Velika, Allemantheia, Highwatch and every open zone between them are here: the whole patch 100 world, from your first steps to level 65.
Follow the story quest by quest if you want to see it all again, or find a group and run the leveling dungeons to the cap. Either road gets you there.

One launcher, and you are in
The Sharp launcher installs the game, checks its files, keeps it patched and signs you in. It lives in your user folder, so it never asks for administrator rights, and once it is set up, playing is a single click on Play.
It also brings along the things you used to piece together yourself. A proxy made for this server, with skill prediction, runs inside the launcher, so there is no Tera Toolbox to install, and the mod manager and Shinra Meter are built in too.
